– The preliminary results will be published by January 31, 2024, at the latest, and the final ones successively by the end of 2025 – he said at the press conference.
He said that the financing of the survey had been secured from the budget of Serbia, but also the pre-accession funds of the EU – IPA 2018.
As he pointed out, a total of 4,000 people will take part in the survey, of which 3,000 surveyors, and around 680,000 households, legal entities and entrepreneurs active in agricultural production will be encompassed.
– The survey ensures an all-encompassing, internationally comparable overview of the structural characteristics of the national agriculture, as well as the basis for the creation of a sustainable agrarian policy – Kovacevic said.
The head of cooperation of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Nicola Bertolini, said that the EU had provided EUR 20 million for the agricultural property survey.
He said that the survey was significant for the entire economy of Serbia and praised the economy for reaching a high level of data standardization, important to the preparation of the further agrarian policy.
