Origin Announces Production of EV Charging Stations in Novi Sad

Origin, a global technology company, designing, manufacturing, and supplying fast charging solutions for cars, buses and trucks, has revealed that production of EV stations will start this spring in Serbia.

The company has also revealed that the stations will be produced in collaboration with Serbian partner SLED rasveta i razvodi d.o.o from Zrenjanin.

Origin will bring to joint venture its extensive network and work experience in Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Croatia and the Republic of Northern Macedonia, the press release says.

– Our joint production with SLED of the Origin EV ultra-fast stations will take place at a state-of-the-art facility in Novi Sad, allowing us to not only produce products for the local and European markets, but also provide quality service support to our customers – owners of the EV commercial network – said Samvel Avetisyan, co-founder of Origin.

The press release also says that Origin has announced the debut of its ultra-fast EV station at the Belgrade Motor Show 2023.

– The Origin EV ultra-fast station boasts a charging capacity of up to 200 kW, enabling it to charge an EV battery to 80% in just 15 minutes. The station can be equipped with multiple connectors, making it compatible with a wide range of EV models – the press release says.

Origin, as said, was founded in 2017 and now headquartered in Dubai with manufacturing in Turkey and Serbia.
