The development of the Pannonian Corridor project is planned, with the aim of boosting the capacities and the connection between the transfer systems of our two countries, said the minister of mining and energy of Serbia, Dubravka Djedovic, during her conversation with the ambassador of Hungary to Serbia, Jozsef Magyar, about the cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy, it is said on the website of the ministry.

As Djedovic added, in the field of energy, we can only extend and deepen the cooperation, especially in the sectors of oil and gas and renewable energy sources, and “there are possibilities for other joint projects”.

One of the important results of the bilateral cooperation, according to the minister, is the extension of the agreement for the storage of gas for the needs of Serbia in Hungary for another year.

– We are grateful to Hungary for the good cooperation on gas storage, just like we are aware of the importance that Serbia has for Hungary as a transit country for supply through the Balkan Stream gas pipeline – Djedovic added.
