Air Serbia started operating flights according to the summer flight schedule, which will be valid until October 28, 2023. In the aforementioned period, the national airline will operate scheduled and seasonal flights to more than 80 destinations across the world, 20 of which are destinations Air Serbia did not fly to in 2022, the press release says.

In the summer season, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia will intensify the frequency of flights between Belgrade and North America, and along with the daily flights to New York, on May 17 it will commence a direct service to Chicago. Flights to new destinations in Air Serbia’s network, such as Ankara, Krakow, Ohrid, Varna and Rhodes, will be operated four times a week, while flights to Tel Aviv, Cairo, Hamburg, Gothenburg, Cologne and Chania will be available three times a week.

The most frequent Air Serbia destination during the summer flight schedule will be Tivat with 40 weekly flights, followed by Podgorica, Zurich and Istanbul with 21 flights, Vienna with 18, Budapest with 17, i.e. Athens, Larnaca, Ljubljana, Paris, Skopje, Tirana and Zagreb with 14 weekly flights.

Among the most frequent destinations of a national airline are Rome with 12 flights per week, Prague with 11, Amsterdam and Milan with 10. Nine times a week, Air Serbia will fly to Barcelona, Bucharest, London and Sofia, while the national airline will fly to Berlin and Thessaloniki eight times a week.

During the summer months, passengers will be able to fly daily to Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Sarajevo and Stockholm on comfortable Air Serbia planes.

– The results we have achieved during the first quarter of this year show that a dynamic summer season is ahead of us. The interest in our flights is remarkable, regardless of destination. For the first time, we have introduced direct flights to Lisbon, İzmir, Corfu, Marseille, and these flights have garnered particular interest. Passengers will certainly be pleased by the increase in the frequency of weekly flights to Italy, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Greece, and North America, as well as the option to fly from Niš to Athens, Cologne, Frankfurt-Hahn, Istanbul, Ljubljana, and Tivat during the summer season – said Bojan Aranđelović, Head of Network Planning and Scheduling, Air Serbia.
