As of April 5, Slovenian national air carrier Adria Airways will increase the number of weekly flights it operates between Ljubljana and Belgrade from current six to eight, the company announced yesterday.

There will be two daily flights on Tuesday and Thursday, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, and these new flights are adapted to the needs of businessmen of both countries who will now be able to finish all the work in one day, reads the company's statement.

People at Adria Airways announced a possibility of introduction of Ljubljana-Nis flights in the summer.

Adria Airways, which celebrates it's 50th anniversary of existence this year, started operating regular flights between Ljubljana and Belgrade on March 1, 2010, and is currently the only airline flying on that route.

As of September 2011, additional flights will be introduced in order to connect the two countries in a much more quality way.
