Giovanni de Filippis to present 2011 Aurea Award - eKapija web portal grants award for the innovative investment of the year on March 29

The business web portal eKapija will tomorrow grant the award for the investment of the year 2011 Aurea to the project with the highest level of innovation, social utility and commercial success in 2010. The main award will be presented to the winner by Fiat Automobili Srbija (FAS) CEO Giovanni de Filippis. In addition to the main award, two special awards will also be presented - one for the best innovation and the other for the best social utility.
The finalists for 2011 Aurea Award are: an instrument for water quality control, a combine for picking raspberries and blackberries, a biomass power plant, a street LED lighting system, a low-floor city bus powered by natural gas, an industrial automatic machine for slicing vegetables, a mobile machine for grinding used PET plastic bottles, and a continuous biodiesel reactor.
The winner has been decided by a six-member jury consisting of representatives of eminent organizations and business associations, prominent businessmen and leading domestic economists. The seventh member of the jury were the readers of eKapija web portal and the visitors of the website Aurea.
