Nova Retail Park Ub – New Shopping Destination

On Wednesday 19th April 2023, an event was held on the occasion of laying of the foundation stone for the new retail park in Ub municipality, which will hold the name Nova Retail Park Ub. This retail format will have 12,350 square meters, out of which 11,500 sq m will be for lease.

The park will be located on the entrance to the municipality, in near vicinity of the ″Milos Veliki″ highway, around 2km from the centre of Ub, on the regional traffic corridor connecting the surrounding suburban areas with approximately 70,000 inhabitants, to the highway and further with the capital Belgrade as well as Čačak city. With an excellent tenant mix from various categories in 25 units, including supermarket, sport brands, shoes, health and beauty, children fashion, toys, playground, restaurant and service, as well as numerous international and local fashion brands, Ub municipality will receive its own shopping destination and new jobs for over 200 of their residents.

Parking with 215 places will be available for all visitors of the park and, additionally, for everybody who decides to spend their free time here, a new city bus line will be secured directly to the centre of Ub.

Investor of the project is Go Shop company, which also plans the development of several new retail parks in numerous cities across Serbia, including currently Ub, Kula and Ruma at this moment, with intention to further invest.

– We believe that every town in the country deserves to have this type of retail format in its offer, as it is already a trend in the surrounding countries, thus we have decided to start with this project and with the help of local community and partners, we did an extensive market research and found ideal positions and locations for new shopping destinations – said company’s Director Marko Grujičić.

Opening of the retail park is planned for fall 2023, and the lease and commercialization for all their developments has been exclusively trusted to CBS International, the leading real estate consultancy, part of Cushman & Wakefield Group.
