Serbia, Italy finances construction of 670 apartments for refugees/€15m

The Government of Republic of Italy confirmed its attention of investing €15m in construction of 670 apartment facilities for refugees and socially endangered citizens in Serbia, all these in the scope of the program of international organization UN-Habitat, which will be implemented within next two years in seven local communities in the Republic. On that occasion, Memorandum was signed by chiefs of UN-Habitat organization and representatives of municipalities of Čačak, Kraljevo, Stara Pazova, Pančevo and Valjevo, and cities of Kragujevac and Niš, on territories of which the new housing units will be built.
