Between the two crises, logistics had three years to adapt to the “new normal”. And it has done so very well – the chains have not been broken despite all the obstacles, such as delays and increased costs, because the flow of goods simply never stops.

However, in a changeable environment, supply chains require new solutions which increase the resilience to the challenges of Logistics 4.0. This year will definitely be a year of digital transformation in the logistics sector. Digitization is a growing trend in the industry which will have to devise new strategies of distribution and logistics with the help of SaS software solutions for process automation and tools for increasing the efficiency of routes.

There’s also the new trend of “green logistics”, which imposes the reduction of the environmental impact with the reduction of CO2 emissions, resource preservation and waste treatment, and which, again, through the use of e-vehicles, nearshoring and the careful use of energy, relies on new technologies and digitization.

Therefore, the special edition newsletter “Fast. Reliable. Logi(sti)cal.” will, among other things, deal with new technological solutions for cost reduction and the increasing of efficiency and competitiveness, with the inevitable care for climate change – in a word, everything that awaits the industry this year.

Representatives of relevant institutions and companies will talk about business challenges and innovative solutions for overcoming obstacles in the sector of transport and logistics, as well as the ways of preserving the living environment.
