Jubilee International Agricultural Fair from May 20 through 26 in Novi Sad – Exhibitors from 25 Countries

The Novi Sad Fair, in the year in which it marks a century of its existence, from May 20 through 26, is also organizing the jubilee 90th International Agricultural Fair.

The country partner of the Agricultural Fair is Italy, which had the same role in 2016 and 2019 as well, whereas it was the Friend Country in 2015. Considerable support to the biggest agrarian gathering comes from the sponsors – Globos Insurance, Postanska Stedionica Bank, Al Dahra, Telekom Srbija… the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Provincial Government, the City of Novi Sad, the donors…

This year, the company MBV has prepared two valuable gifts for the Prize Contest – a Badilli sprinkler of 600 liters and an Ozduman sowing machine.

– What’s important for the status of the International Agricultural Fair is the presence of Serbia and another 25 countries – Greece, Romania, Belarus, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Belgium, Turkey, Russia, Italy, China, Denmark, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Spain, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Angola, Poland, Netherlands, Montenegro, France and Indonesia. The international character is also confirmed by the 14 announced collective exhibitions from Italy, Spain, China, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Hungary, Indonesia, Netherlands, Poland, Montenegro, Angola, Romania, Belarus and Russia. The most expensive tractor at the Fair will be Case IH Steiger 500, at the price of EUR 462,000 + VAT, and it will be exhibited at the stand of Agromarket Machinery. There will also be the specialized combine Grimme REX 6200 by ITN Group Agrotech, whose basic price is EUR 670,000 + VAT, and the premiere of the grain combine with tracks Fendt IDEAL 8, which will also be the most expensive grain combine at the Fair at the price of around EUR 700,000 + VAT, has been announced as well, and the exhibitor is InterAgrar. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management has this year helped us with additional funds to organize the National Livestock Exhibition and the Exhibition of Genetic Potentials. We have also received help with the organization of the “Bio Garden”, which will be interesting to our visitors. We have managed to secure an adequate and representative number of heads of livestock, cattle, horses, goats, sheep and poultry, and this year, there will be no pigs, due to the threat of the African swine fever. On May 21, there will be a show jumping event, and just like last year, the Fiacre Show, the Livestock Farmers Day and the Fruit Farmers Day will be organized, and I am also announcing a humanitarian campaign, which will be held in cooperation with NURDOR and the Stamevski company and realized at the Agricultural Fair, where all the money collected through the “Humane and Sweet” campaign will be paid to NURDOR for the construction of the sixth parents’ house.
