Construction of Innovation District in Kragujevac Announced for Next Year – On 56,000 m2 National Center for Information Security Planned as Well

The prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, has announced that the construction of the innovation district in Kragujevac will begin next year.

– The total investment in this innovation district will be EUR 120 million and it cannot be done right away, but in phases – next year, we are starting the construction and we will develop Kragujevac in phases – the prime minister said at the opening of the first regional center of the Oracle corporation in the State Data Center in Kragujevac and added that there were clear plans for Kragujevac and Sumadija.

The prime minister said that the innovation district would spread on 56,000 m2.

She said that, within this innovation district, the science-technology park would be built as well, but also the national center for information security and a space for new innovative startups, and noted that it would also secure the creation of new jobs.
