Putevi Uzice still negotiates on acquisition of PZP Vranje

Milan Bojovic, CEO of Uzice-based Putevi, told Pregled newspaper that the negotiations on the acquisition of PZP Vranje (Road Maintenance Company Vranje), part of Nibens Group, were still underway and that the outcome depended on whether the account of the Vranje-based company would be unblocked.

- In order for our agreement on the takeover to be fulfilled, it is necessary that the owner of PZP Vranje resolves a series of issues and unblock the company`s account. The deadline for that is late May, until when an agreement on the acquisition should be signed - he stated.

CEO of the road maintenance company in Vranje says that this company operates well and that all problems stem from loans taken out by the mother company in Nis, for which PZP Vranje was the guarantor.

According to his words, the owner plans to restructure loans and ask banks to freeze all obligations for the period of two years. The sale of PZP Vranje to Putevi depends on the outcome of that situation.

After a big crisis that hit Nibens Group (PZP Beograd, PZP Nis, PZP Kragujevac, Sremput, etc.), Putevi in Uzice has become the leading road maintenance group in the country, which is why they have taken over the management of the consortium engaged in the construction of highway on the northern branch of Corridor 10.
