Non-working days for Easter and May Day
The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy stated
today that, according to the Law on State and Other Holidays in the
Republic of Serbia, the Easter holidays will be celebrated from Good
Friday until the second day of Easter, which means that non-working days
will be from Friday, April 22, to Monday, April 25.
The first working day after the holiday is Tuesday, April 26.
For May Day, there will be three days off work – May 1, 2 and 3.
According
to the Law, if one of the days of a public holiday happens to be on
Sunday, the first following day is non-working as well.
Since 1 and 2 May this year are on Sunday and Monday, then Tuesday, 3 May will also be a non-working day.
