Ciric announces stimulus measures for employers in private sector - Taxes on salaries smaller by 50 percent
Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric said on Thursday that the design of a stimulus programme for the employment of people in the private sector would be finished in two weeks and that taxes on salaries would be lowered by 50 or more percent.
Answering the questions of representative of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Natasa Micic about the position of the government toward the private sector, Ciric said that the government's new programme would contribute to a growth of the employment rate in the private sector.
Ciric stated that the government would soon recommend banks to start accepting the loan restructuring applications of their clients and offering a grace period for the repayment of restructured loans.
