Kikinda Presents Preliminary Project for Use of Geothermal Springs to Chinese Companies

The preliminary project for the use of geothermal springs in Kikinda, as an alternative source of heating, has been presented to the delegation of the Chamber of Chinese Companies in Serbia, announced the mayor of Kikinda, Nikola Lukac.

The meeting which was held at the National Assembly, in addition to the members of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with China and the delegation of the Chamber of Chinese Companies in Serbia, was also attended by representatives of the Embassy of China, and they talked about the possibilities of further improving the cooperation and creating the best possible environment for successful joint projects, explained Lukac on his official Instagram profile.

– Cooperation with China has been raised to a new higher level, through the work and efforts of this Group of Friendship – said the president of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues, Milenko Jovanov, who pointed out that it would contribute to establishing even more open relations between the members of the two countries’ parliaments, as well as a closer cooperation between companies.

As the representatives of the local self-government, the meeting was attended by the mayor of Kikinda, Nikola Lukac, and the director of the Kikinda Sports Center Jezero, Dejan Pudar, who presented to the Chinese business people the preliminary project which refers to the use of geothermal springs in Kikinda as alternative sources of the heating of the sports facility and the accommodation capacities, as well as the construction of new features for the purpose of tourism.
