Opening of First 5.5 km of Nis-Merdare Highway Announced for July

The first section of the Nis-Merdare highway, 5.5 kilometers long, will be opened in July, announced the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesic.

This highway, according to him, is very important, because it will connect Serbia with the Port of Durres.

Vesic said on TV Prva that the Ruma-Sabac highway would open in October and that, by the end of October, a new 10 kilometers on the Morava Corridor would be completed, whereby the entire Krusevac would be connected with the highway.
