The Municipality of Velika Plana has put up for a public presentation the urban project for the construction of the Anja winery in this city.

As said in the urban project, which was prepared by Preduzece za projektovanje, gradjevinarstvo i inzenjering Ilic i ostali from Smederevska Palanka, the investor is a private person, and said parcel is located at 62 Koporinska Street.

The construction of a production-storage and management facility with a basement and two floors (including the ground floor) is planned.

The construction of the winery is planned within the agriculture property, next to the plantations of delicate vine varieties.

In addition to the central facility for the processing of grapes and for the storage, monitoring and tasting of wine, the plan also includes a range of necessary traffic and infrastructure side features on the parcel in the function of the core activity.

The total area of the parcel is 6,021 m2, that is, 60.21 ares.

Said location is situated on the tripoint between the settlements of Velika Plana, Smederevska Palanka and the village of Radovanje, in a sparsely populated area outside significant traffic flows.

The investor, according to the documentation, intends to become one of the serious vineyard producers in the long term. It is raising vineyards on several parcels in close proximity to the winery and strives to increase the land area each year. Its offer features considerable quantities of grapes from this area.

The entire capacities needed for this purpose would be unified in one facility with a basement and two floors (including the ground floor). In addition to the production and storage of alcoholic beverages, the new facility will have the necessary rooms for the tasting of wines and the distribution of bottled products. The fruits which are harvested on close to 2 hectares of the vineyard make up the raw ingredients.

The rear part of the facility will have a traffic area on the ground floor level for the delivery of the raw ingredients, the handling of the cargo and the dispatching of bottled alcoholic beverages and the byproducts of the production process. Within the external flat area on the north side, the grapes will be handled and crushed and then transported to the basement by pumps and hoses.

The basement level would be meant for the reception of the crushed grape juice, production and storage of wines. Young wine is first stored in stainless steel receptacles for the maturing and fermentation of the crushed grapes, after which it is poured into wooden barrels, where it is rested and matured.

The ground floor is planned for rooms for daily activities during the seasonal work at the vineyard, the accommodation of the work force, dining and using the rooms for wine presentation. In addition to that, the ground floor of the facility would be public and commercial, meant for visitors, friends and business partners, that is, gatherings for the purpose of tasting and promoting alcoholic beverages.

Rooms for seasonal accommodation of the work force for vineyard jobs are planned on the upper floor.

The plan also includes the realization of 3 parking spaces for cars and one space for trucks.
