Valjevo Looking for Private Partner for Replacement and Maintenance of Public Lighting – Job Worth EUR 12.6 Million

The City of Valjevo has published the tender for the selection of a private partner and the awarding of an agreement on a public-private partnership for the selection of a private partner for the replacement, rationalization and maintenance of a part of the public lighting system by implementing energy saving measures in the territory of the City of Valjevo.

The subject of the agreement on the public-private partnership without concession elements is the financing of the expansion of the public lighting system and the installation and the implementation of the measures with the aim of a more efficient usage of energy, CO2 emission reduction and reduction of the operating costs of the functioning of a part of the public lighting system, as well as a long-standing maintenance of a part of the public lighting system of the City of Valjevo.

The part of the system covered by the agreement encompasses a total of 11,782 public lighting lamps, of a total of 12,198 in the territory of Valjevo.

The value of the job is estimated at RSD 1.48 billion (EUR 12.6 million).
