Solar Park with 80 MW of Power Planned in Banatska Topola – Solar Power Plant Delta to Be Built on 160 ha

The City of Kikinda has put up for early public inspection the Detailed Regulation Plan for the solar park Solar Power Plant Delta. The plan is for the future facility to be built in the non-building area of the settlement of Banatska Topola, right next to the border of the municipality of Nova Crnja.

According to the decisions by which the previous decision on the preparation of the DRP and the decision on the preparation of the strategic environmental impact study are repealed, the power has been increased from the previous 20 MW to 80 MW, and the area covered by the plan is increased from 45 ha to 160 ha.

Also, the investor has been changed. The initiative for the preparation of the previous plan was submitted by the company Bragasast Clean Energy Development from Zrenjanin, and the company Solar Power Plant Delta is now cited as the investor.

The agri-solar fields, according to the document, are planned in three units.

The plan was prepared by the company South Banat Energy Hazelnut from Pancevo, and the early public inspection will last until August 17.
