Lasta Sombor Expanding Operations – Construction of Storage-Production Facility Planned in Industrial Zone in That City

The City of Sombor has confirmed the urban project for the construction of a storage-production facility of the company Lasta doo from that city.

The future facility with two floors (including the ground floor) will be built in the industrial zone in that city. According to the project which was prepared by the company Domus, the majority of the building is meant for storage, whereas a smaller part is planned for the production of elements for steel structures. Also, a part of the facility is planned for the management and a salon where the articles will be displayed. The planned gross floor area of the ground floor of the facility is 1,749 m2.

In addition to the main facility, the construction of a side facility is also planned on the parcel – a canopy for bicycles, a space for containers, packaging and so on. This is supposed to be a ground-floor facility with a planned gross floor area of 112 m2.

The storage-production facility is planned for the purposes of the expansion of the operating capacities of the company Lasta doo, which sells sheet steel, steel pipes and profiles, tools and materials for sheet metal work.

– Due to the increase in the workload, there is a need for a bigger storage space. The intention of the investor is to have steel structures made by hand tools and to have machine parts repaired and serviced within the facility – the project says.
