Tobacco Factory from Rovinj to become - exclusive hotel

Rovinj-based Adris group will invest about €102m in construction of new cigarette factory in Kanfaran, which will be put in operation in June 2006 and it will be selling 25 billion cigarettes on annual basis. Old factory will have more beautiful future because it is located in the old part of Rovinj and it will be adapted into luxurious hotel complex.

In 2005, Adris group will invest 300 million kuna in tourism, most of which will be set aside for reorganization of former naturist center Monsena (present Amarin), as well as tourist settlement Petalon-Vrsar, whereas the remainder of the money (120 million kuna) will be invested in camps Koversada, Valkanela, Veštar and Polari, hotels on Rovinj's riviera and organization of Crveni otok Island.

Investments will be continued so that the amount will reach 2.1 billion kuna until 2009.
