Ringier Transfers Entire Ownership Stake in NIN to CEO Jelena Drakulic Petrovic

Ringier Serbia has transferred the entire ownership share in the Balkans’ oldest weekly, NIN, to CEO Jelena Drakulic Petrovic, it was announced today.

Mark Walder, the CEO of the Switzerland-based company Ringier AG, which is the owner of Ringier Serbia, has expressed his conviction that, under the leadership of Jelena Drakulic Petrovic, the NIN will have “a promising future”.

The new owner of NIN, Jelena Drakulic Petrovic, has stated that it was her honor to take over that weekly after 20 years of a professional engagement within Ringier.


According to the press release, the transaction is already complete, and the parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the transfer of the ownership share.

NIN, founded on January 26, 1935, is the oldest weekly in the Balkans.
