Novi Sad Jazz Festival from November 15 to 18

The jubilee 25th edition of the Novi Sad Jazz Festival will be held from November 15 to 18, 2023, organized by the Cultural Center of Novi Sad.

This year’s edition of the festival will present eight top concerts on the Grand Stage of the Youth Theater to jazz aficionados, and the audience will also be able to enjoy the dynamic accompanying features – exhibitions, films, promotions, workshops and jam sessions.

The festival will be opened by The Kenny Garrett Quintet, led by the famous saxophone player, composer and arranger, one of the most prominent names of the current world jazz scene. This Grammy-awarded artist, whose musicianship is characterized by virtuosity and vision, has three and a half decades of a successful career behind him. His career has been marked by great albums, top concerts, as well as collaborations with legends such as Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock… The performance in Novi Sad will be Garrett’s first in Europe after receiving the NEA Jazz Masters Fellowship, a remarkable honor which is given only to the biggest jazz musicians.
