Fabrika Reznog Alata Cacak Has New/Old Potential Owners – Waiting for Board of Creditors Regarding Final Sale Decision

The companies Unipromet from Cacak and Euroline from Belgrade are the new/old potential purchasers of Fabrika Reznog Alata (Cutting Tools Factory) Cacak.

As the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency announced, for RSD 58.8 million, which was the initial price, these companies could become the owners of 22 facilities located on the city building land in Beogradska Street in Cacak with a total area of 30,628 m2, as well as the facility in the same location situated on a land with an area of 3,526 m2.

Considering that the achieved price is lower than 50% of the estimated value of the property of the bankruptcy debtor, the Board of Creditors has the final say.

Let us remind that the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency pronounced the previous sale of the property of Fabrika Reznog Alata (FRA) Cacak in bankruptcy unsuccessful, because the price reached at the auction, RSD 560 million, was lower than 50% of the estimated value.

The property of FRA was first sold on June 13 to the consortium of Unipromet Cacak and Euroline Belgrade, but the Board of Creditors of the factory in bankruptcy did not give approval for the bid price.

The initial price at the public bidding was RSD 235.3 million, and construction land of 30,628 square meters was offered, as well as three production halls, a hall with a restaurant, warehouses, the management building, the facility for the production of ball screws, equipment and stock.

FRA, whose majority owner was the state, and which was pronounced a company of special importance for the defense industry by decree of the Government of Serbia in 2015, stopped working in August 2021.
