The minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, and the minister of foreign trade of France, Olivier Becht, have signed the Financial Protocol Between the Government of Serbia and the Government of France on Cooperation in the Financing of the Implementation of a General Automation of the Management of the Power Distribution Network, as announced by the Government of Serbia.

The signed intergovernmental agreement defines the Project of Running a General Automation of the Management of the Power Distribution Network, that is, the automation of the medium-voltage power distribution network in the Republic of Serbia, as one of the priority projects in the cooperation between the two states.

Previously, by an intergovernmental agreement, it was agreed for the Government of France to approve for the Government of Serbia financial support for the implementation of a general automation of the management of the power distribution network within a project worth EUR 140 million.
