Alumil Company Celebrates Two Decades of Production in Serbia (VIDEO)

On September 12, Alumil celebrated the twentieth anniversary of its production activities in Serbia at a corporate celebration with representatives of the embassies of Greece and Cyprus, numerous clients and friends of the company.

The ceremony, which was held at Hotel Metropol Palace, gathered around 500 attendees. Within the official part of the program, the guests were addressed by representatives of Alumil Group and Alumil YU Industry company.

– Focusing on our strategy and business plan, I believe that the Alumil factory and the production of high-quality aluminum system will continue growing and developing, creating new jobs, increasing exports, contributing to the further development of the local economy and Serbian industry – stated Stylianos Tsoktouridis, the managing director of Alumil YU Industry.

After the official part of the program, all the guests also enjoyed the ceremonial dinner with a suitable music and art stage program.

The factory in Serbia spreads on 35,000 m2 and has two extrusion lines with a capacity of 14,000 tons a year, thermal breaking lines and a plasticization facility.

Alumil is dedicated to upgrading production processes in line with the environment, reducing pollution, preserving energy, natural resources and expendable materials.

In accordance with that dedication, the process of the production of aluminum profiles in Nova Pazova uses recycled aluminum which is processed in the Alumil industrial zone in Kilkis, Greece. The increase of the recycled material content in the production of aluminum systems enables them to create products with a considerably lower carbon footprint.

In Serbia, Alumil employs over 400 workers and, in addition to production facilities, also has six sales and distribution centers and an impressive showroom in Belgrade.
