Introduction of Gas Supply in New Belgrade – Which Blocks Will Be Able to Connect?

The preparation of the project documentation for the introduction of gas supply in New Belgrade is to start soon, stated the president of the municipality of New Belgrade, Bojan Bovan, when talking to the residents of Bezanija, as announced on the website of this city municipality.

Bovan added that Srbijagas would be the carrier of the project and that, as soon as October, that company and the Municipality of New Belgrade would select the strategic partner that would carry out the works on establishing the gas supply system.

– It is only after the contractor is selected that the citizens will be able to get more detailed information about the price of the gas connection and the potential payment facilities – he said.

The city assembly of the municipality of New Belgrade, according to Bovan, has already adopted the plan of introducing gas supply, which entails the construction of 106 kilometers of a gas network, in the location in which there are no heating pipelines.

As said, the residents in the blocks 13, 18, 25 and 64, Usce, Tosin Bunar, the Highway Industrial Zone, Bezanija 2-Ledine, Bezanija and Bezanijska Kosa will be able to get a connection.
