Serbia Presented at International CMC Conference in Amman

Members of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) from 47 national institutes which cover more than 70 countries of the world, among which is Serbia, gathered in Amman, Jordan, at the annual Assembly and the 10th International CMC Conference, whose aim is to contribute to social and economic development in the world, it has been announced. The conference, which is held from October 11-13, is also attended by Aleksandra Hristov, the president of the Association of Management Consultants of Serbia (UPKS) and a new member of the Board of Directors of ICMCI.

ICMCI, also known as CMC-Global, has a special consultant status as a non-governmental organization working with the United Nations.

The most important topics of this year’s Assembly are ethics, which are important in the development of any profession, as well as how the process through which a consultant goes in order to get international certification (CMC) affects the national institutes and the profession overall, says the press release by UPKS.

The CMC certification is the only internationally recognized one for individual management consultants and is given exclusively to those who meet the highest criteria of competence and professionalism in consulting clients, while meeting all the proscribed standards and the profession’s ethical codex.

The Association of Management Consultants of Serbia is the only organization which is authorized to issue the CMC certificate in Serbia according to the international standards.
