Sijarinska Banja to Get New Hotel – Reconstruction of Special Hospital Facility, Geyser, Pools and Sports Courts Planned Too, Designer Needed

The Municipality of Medvedja has commissioned the preparation of project documentation for the reconstruction, repair, adaptation, extension and new construction within the “Veliki gejzer” facility in Sijarinska Banja.

According to the project task, the subject of the procurement are the building of the Special Rehabilitation Hospital “Gejzer” and a geyser with outdoor pools, a restaurant and an outdoor seating area, a mud pool with a mud bath, an inhalation room and canopies, a restaurant with an outdoor seating area and a complex of sports courts with an Olympic-size pool and a side facility.

The reconstruction and adaptation of the Special Rehabilitation Hospital “Gejzer” is planned, which will entail the full reconstruction of the geyser with the outdoor pools, the restaurant, the outdoor seating area and the newly designed footbridge from the Special Hospital facility to the outdoor pools, across the traffic route. The exterior area needs to be planned too, with the defining of the traffic routes, footpaths and free green areas.

The mud pool with the mud bath and the inhalation room and the complex of sports courts with the Olympic-size pool will be reconstructed as well.

The construction of a new facility should be designed separately – a hotel with a capacity of 50 guests, with a heated corridor connecting it with the existing facility near the pool, with a full exterior development with a parking lot.

The plan for the complex also entails the construction of a solar power plant for own needs, with a maximum power of 30 kW, the installation of electric air gates above the entrance to the building, so as to prevent the wasting of heat due to the frequent opening of the door, the replacement of all the radiators and the installation of floor heating in the pools, locker rooms, sanitary blocks…

The designer’s job is estimated at RSD 46 million.
