Italian Aunde Opens Factory for Production of Car Coverings in Leskovac – Vucic Invites Them to Invest in Vranje

The Italian company Aunde, which produces coverings for the automotive industry, opening its second factory in Serbia in Leskovac today, where 300 people work, and another 260 should be employed next year.

The factory building spreads on around 13,000 square meters, and the test production started in August.

The opening of the factory was attended by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, who said that he had recommended to the representatives of Aunde to also open a facility in Vranje, where there are experienced textile workers.

He thanked the owners of the company for employing the workers of the Jeanci factory, which had gone into bankruptcy.


In Jagodina as well, where it has been operating for nine years, Aunde has a factory where it produces car coverings and where 900 people are employed.

Aunde Group was founded in 1899 and is one of the world’s leading companies in its field, with over 40 facilities in 20 countries.

Aunde Italy has signed a long-term agreement with Stellantis, which will be realized by Aunde Serbia, and they will produce coverings for the car brands Fiat Panda, Fiat 600 and Alfa Kid, made in Kragujevac.
