Srbija Voz Renamed as Srbijavoz

The company “Preduzece za prevoz putnika u zeleznickom saobracaju Srbija voz” has been officially renamed as Srbijavoz, or more precisely, “Akcionarsko drustvo za zeleznički prevoz putnika Srbijavoz Beograd”. As the company announced, the change came into effect on November 10.

Several days before this official announcement, Ivan Bulajic, the acting director general of Srbijavoz, emphasized on his Instagram profile that that had been done through a change in the company’s Statute so as to remove the irregularity due to which the company was called Srbija voz a.d.

– We have thereby adapted ourselves to the spirit of the Serbian language and good business practice – Bulajic emphasized in his announcement.

As a separate rail company, Srbijavoz has existed since 2015, when several separate companies were created through the reorganization of rail activities, such as “Infrastruktura zeleznice Srbije” and “Srbija kargo”.
