Montenegro Properties Agency at Summit in London

The Montenegrin real estate agency Montenegro Properties will be this year’s participant in the Arab-British summit which is held on Monday, November 20, at the Hilton London Metropole hotel. The topic of this year’s summit is “Sustaining an Emerging Vision”, and CEO of Montenegro Properties, Aleksandra Draskovic, will speak at “The Evolution of Banking, Financing and Insurance” panel.

The London summit will gather close to 1,000 participants from the whole world, among them representatives of the economy, business associations, international organizations, governments and diplomatic corps.

The moderator of “The Evolution of Banking, Financing and Insurance” panel will be Simon Penney, Head of Middle East at Gemcorp, and in addition to Aleksandra Draskovic, the panelists will be Shevaun Haviland, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce, Jed Mrabet, President of the Tunisian-British Chamber of Commerce, and Hicham Maaouni, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking, Treasury and Capital Markets at Bank of Africa UK Plc.

According to Draskovic, it is a special honor and pleasure to be part of this prestigious event and share the stage with such influential people from the world of economy.

– I am glad that, as the only speaker from Montenegro, I will have the opportunity to talk about important and very current topics from the angle of somebody who is coming from the world of real estate, with years of experience in cooperating with investors from the whole world. The summit will also have an exhibition component, so Montenegro Properties will have its stand, where we will present Montenegro and its investment potentials with pleasure – said Draskovic.

Also, the agency will present itself in the Economic Focus publication, she added.

Aleksandra Draskovic has over 18 years of experience in the real estate market, focusing on top-quality residential and mixed real estate, foreign investments and development. She founded the Montenegro Properties agency in 2006 and, since then, they have been operating successfully in the market, while also playing an important tole in presenting Montenegro in the world.

– Back in 2009, we took part in MIPIM in Cannes, together with the Montenegrin Investment Promotion Agency (MIPA). When I visited all the stands, at the very end of MIPIM, I visited the stand of Qatari Diar, held a short presentation about Montenegro and motivated them to come to our country. They promised to have a meeting and that’s the way it happened. That is a success that I am really very proud of – said Aleksandra.

Khalaf Ahmed Al Habtoor from the UAE, who built the Burj al Arab hotel, was also a client of Montenegro Properties. Also, Draskovic points out, she is proud of the fact that U.S. Senator Gerald Weller was the agency’s client.

Montenegro is also the winner of three awards handed out by the International Property Awards, the world’s most famous accreditation house which hands out awards as a sign of excellence to professionals in the field of real estate. Among others, the jury features members of the U.K. Parliament.

– The first award we got from them was for the best website, then we got the acknowledgment for the best real estate agent, and this year, we got the best marketing award – Draskovic says.

Last year, she had the opportunity to present Montenegro at EXPO 2020 in Dubai, where she held the presentation titled “Montenegro: Unlocking Potential for Growth”.

– Lately, the focus of the Montenegro Properties agency is on luxury real estate and resorts with their conveniences. Given that it is primarily luxury real estate that is a growing segment in Montenegro and an excellent opportunity for attracting investors, we are especially satisfied that we will have the opportunity to present our country and its potentials at the summit in London – concluded Aleksandra Draskovic.
