At yesterday's meeting in the Government of Serbia, the representatives of the farmers association, who are protesting by blocking the roads, met with the prime minister Ana Brnabic. A partial fulfillment of their demands has been agreed, and a new meeting was scheduled to take place on Sunday, in Kisac.

Farmers have accepted the PM's proposal to no longer block the roads, but they will continue to protest along the roadsides.

The farmers' protest began on November 13. Since then, traffic blocks have been taking place every day, and the refinery near Novi Sad has also been blocked.

The principal demands of the farmers are the regulation of the commodity exchange and the removal of the excise duty on diesel.
