Direct payment transactions from Montenegro to Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina will soon be available

The Central Bank of Montenegro has signed an Agreement on participation in the clearing of international payments with Universal Capital Bank (UCB), as the country's supreme monetary institution announced.

As per the statement, from the perspective of the Central Bank, the process required for the inclusion of Universal Capital Bank in the clearing of international payments between Montenegro, the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina has been completed.

- The Central Bank completed all the activities required to start the clearing process of international payments. The start date for use of this payment system will depend on the business decision by UCB - the announcement concludes.
