Record Number of Building Permits Issued in Indjija – 500 Apartments Under Construction

The Municipal Department of Urban Planning in Indjija issued more building permits and location requirements to investors in the first ten months of this year than was the case in the previous two years, the local self-government announced.

Based on the calculation of the fees for the development of building land, around RSD 20 million more goes to the municipal budget each year, which is an indicator of a trend of development in the field of construction in the municipality of Indjija.

From the sum of RSD 22 million, which is how much was gained on this basis in 2020, this year, in the first ten months, more than RSD 70 million in fees for the development of building land was realized.

In the past month alone, the construction of over 220 apartments has begun, whereas, since the beginning of the year, the construction of 500 apartments has begun.

– This shows how much is being built in Indjija and that investors are serious when it comes to honoring the construction plans and deadlines, because a far greater number of exploitation permits for multi-family residence facilities has been issued too – pointed out Tijana Dosen, the head of the Municipal Department of Urban Planning.

– A month and a half until the end of the year, we recorded a record number of issued location requirements and building permits, which already now exceeds the entire last year, which means that Indjija is a big construction site, which is the indicator of the living standard in the municipality – pointed out the president of the Municipality of Indjija, Vladimir Gak.
