Contest for Professional Training in China Opens for Students of Faculty of Civil Engineering

The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, together with the Students’ Conference of the Universities of Serbia, has opened the contest for ten senior-year students and students at master studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade with the aim of educational training in the period between December 9 and 14, 2023, in the province of Shandong in China.

– The students who attend professional training in China will have the opportunity to learn about the realization of large infrastructural projects and acquire practical knowledge in the fields of civil engineering and infrastructure – stated the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesic, and invited all the students who meet the requirements to apply to the contest.

Vesic emphasized that students only needed to bring their passports, knowledge and good mood and that all the rest would be paid for.

– I believe that the ten students who return from the training in China through the company Shandong, where they will see the infrastructural projects that they carry out in the country, will come back here with more knowledge that they will be able to further use in their professional careers – Vsic said.

The minister pointed out that similar projects were also being prepared with other companies operating in Serbia, primarily Chinese ones, but also western companies which operate in Serbia.
