"Soja protein" to buy new machines, production of margarine and mayonnaise in oil factory "Mladost" in pipeline
Oil Factory "Mladost" in Šid got new majority owner after privatization - Bečej-based "Soja protein", which provided money for payment of late salaries. The workers have been waiting for this for one year, during which bankruptcy manager Branko Jovičić prepared all necessary documentation. The values of the buildings and machines was estimated and Oil Factory was not able to cover all the debts by itself, so that it was sold on the auction for 603 million CSD.
"Soja protein" wants to replace old Russian machines for production of raw oil with the new ones, made in Germany, in order to make it possible for Oil Factory to start the production successfully. It is calculated that the production could be two times larger. Replacement of the machines would enable processing of raw oil of soybean, sunflower and rape.
In the second phase of the development, "Soja protein" plans to start production of various kinds of margarine, mayonnaise and other products.
