Delta New Owner of Belgrade Construction Company Rad and Office Space of 27,000 m2 in New Belgrade

Delta Real Estate has bought the Belgrade-based construction company Rad in bankruptcy at a public bidding.

At the initial price of RSD 954.29 million, among other things, Delta has become the new owner of an office space of 27,340 m2 in Milentija Popovica Street, in Block 20 in New Belgrade, in close proximity to the seat of Delta, as well as two hotels – Hyatt and Crowne Plaza.

Seven outlets throughout Belgrade have also been sold, as well as several apartments in Belgrade, Bor and Pancevo and one in Skopje.

The company Rad has been in bankruptcy since 2001, and at the previous public bidding, the initial price was RSD 1.36 billion, but there were no interested purchasers.

Let us remind that, recently, the Government of Serbia gave approval to Elektroprivreda Srbije to sell the business-energy complex in Block 20 in New Belgrade, right next to the office space of the Belgrade-based construction company Rad.
