The job of the procurement of 11,500 air filters for the rooms in which the children in preschool and school institutions stay has been awarded by the City of Belgrade to Zepter International, following the conducted tendering procedure.

A total of 10 bids had been sent, and the bid made by Zepter International was twice as low as the estimated value of the procurement. The estimate was RSD 666.4 million (around EUR 5.69 million), without the VAT, and the value of the awarded agreement is RSD 275.2 million (around EUR 2.3 million), with the VAT.

Let us remind that the tender envisaged the procurement of 11,500 air filters for preschool and school institutions in the territory of the city, “covering” up to 60 m2. The devices needed to have PM sensors, WiFi connections and apps and spend a maximum of 50 MW.

The final deadline for the delivery had initially been December 20, but was extended, so the decision on the awarding of the contract was announced on January 5.
