Last year, Air Serbia transported 4.19 million passengers, which is a jump of 53% compared to one year before. The growth is realized in all fields. Today, the company has 44% more flights, to 23 new destinations, 87 regular traffic routes to 34 countries on four continents, said the minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, on his Instagram profile.

– From May 17, after more than 30 years, Air Serbia started flying again to Chicago, and in the first six months, over 25,000 passengers traveled between Belgrade and Chicago. During the summer season, our national airline carrier flew to New York every day of the week. This way, the Serbian national airline carrier offered up to 10 flights a week between the capital of Serbia and North America to the passengers – Mali pointed out.

As he estimated, the company’s moving toward record numbers is a result of the decades of working on improving the reputation, possibilities and markets of the company which has become a world-class company.
