Tender for Continuation of Construction of Patrijarha Pavla Blvd Extended – Job Worth EUR 18 Million

The deadline for the submission of bids for the tender for the execution of the works on the completion of the construction of the Patrijarha Pavla Blvd traffic route has been extended until January 26.

Let us remind that the initial deadline was January 12, and the job was estimated at RSD 2.1 billion (around EUR 18 million).

The president of the Temporary Organ of the City of Belgrade, Aleksandar Sapic, said that the works would start as soon as the new contractor was selected and pointed out that, in that way, the problem of the bottleneck which occurred on that stretch would be addressed.

At the beginning of last year, when the second stage of the reconstruction of this boulevard (the section from Kosutnjak to Pere Velimirovica Street) was completed, Sapic said that “after obtaining the building permit, the works on the section from Kosutnjak to the Ada Bridge will begin a month and half to two months later.”

– That means that, in compliance with the deadlines, the connecting with the Ada Bridge would be completed in the summer of 2024 – Sapic said at the time and added that the tram infrastructure would also be connected with the Ada Bridge and that there would be four lanes, two in each direction.
