State to Found 6 Ventures to Build Facilities for EXPO 2027 – All Companies to Have Same Manager

The Government of Serbia has adopted decisions on the founding of six new companies which will build residential facilities for the accommodation of the participants and visitors of the international specialized exhibition EXPO BELGRADE 2027.

These are SPV Galovica 1, SPV Galovica 2, SPV Galovica 3, SPV Petrac 1, SPV Petrac 2 and SPV Petrac 3.

The founder of the companies is the Republic of Serbia, and the founding rights are carried by the Government.

According to the Government’s decisions, all the companies will be limited-liability companies, with the seat at 76 Jurija Gagarina Street in Belgrade.

That is also the address of the Construction Directorate of Serbia, which, interestingly enough, has been appointed manager of all six newly founded companies.

All the companies also got founding capital of RSD 100,000 each, and as said, they will be financed from the state budget, financial credits and loans, the operating income and other sources in line with the law.

After the residential facilities within the EXPO complex are built, these companies will cease to exist and all the rights and obligations will be transferred to the Property Directorate of the Republic of Serbia.

Let us remind that, at the end of last year, the company EXPO 2027 doo Beograd was founded and Dusan Borovcanin, up till then the director of the Congress Bureau of the Tourism Organization of Serbia, was appointed director.

The preparation, organization and holding of the specialized exhibition EXPO BELGRADE 2027, as well as the development and promotion of this event and attracting potential investments in the projects which will be realized in the location of the specialized exhibition, are listed as the tasks of this company.
