RES SERBIA 2024 Conference in Vrdnik on September 23-24

The biggest regional conference dedicated to renewable energy sources, RES SERBIA 2024, will be held on September 23-24 in Vrdnik, as announced by the RES Serbia Association.

For the fourth year in a row, the conference will gather representatives of the EBRD, the World Bank, state institutions and leading investors, who will discuss the current topics in the field of green energy at the ethno complex Vrdnicka Kula on Fruska Gora.

The organizer of the conference is the Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia Association, whose members are all the relevant companies from the RES sector in the country.

The previous three conferences drew a lot of attention from experts and the wider public, so this year’s gathering will be held over the course of two days, the press release announces.

At RES SERBIA 2024, there will be talk about the status of the construction of the projects of the winners of the auctions from 2023, the second round of auctions for market premiums for solar power plants and wind farms, as well as project which will be built outside the auction system. It is time to open the question of storage and batteries and to sum up the question of connecting.

The first two RES SERBIA conferences were held in Belgrade, whereas last year’s conference was held in Vrdnik, including the highest officials of the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia, EMS, EPS, the EBRD, the companies Masdar, Enlight, Elicio, Nordex, the European associations WindEurope and SolarPower Europe, the directors of leading finance institutions, as well as other representatives of the sector of renewable energy sources.
