The Municipality of Paracin has notified the public about the adopted decision saying that an environmental impact assessment is not necessary for this project at 136 Sumadijska Street in Paracin, near the company Transkop.
As said, the facility on 40 ares will handle, store and treat electrical filter ash from thermal power plants and coal-powered heating plants, which is processed into an alternative building material.
The product will be used to improve the quality of the concrete and as a replacement for the cement in the concrete at a certain percentage, which, as said, will lead to a lowering of the price of concrete.
The facility will encompass two batteries of the handling silos of 100 tons each and the entire facility for the treatment of ash.
The ash will be taken in by cement tanks and be reloaded into the silo pneumatically, from which, through a system of a closed pipeline, it will be transported into a facility for the physical and mechanical treatment with a system for the recirculation of the product, so there will be no byproducts.
It is noted that the entire system will be closed at all points of the potential emission of powdery matters.
The technology project was prepared by Tekon Tehnokonsalting doo from Belgrade.
