Public Procurement for Project of Sector D of Ring Road around Belgrade Planned by April

According to the public procurement plan of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure for 2024, the tender for the preparation of the planning and technical documentation for the project of the construction of the ring road around Belgrade – sector D should be published in the first quarter of this year, which is to say, by April.

The estimated value of the job is RSD 1.2 billion.

Let us remind that the part of the ring road around Belgrade from Strazevica to Bubanj Potok opened to traffic at the end of June last year.

The competent minister, Goran Vesic, said at the time that an agreement was signed with the CIP Institute of Transportation for the planning of an extension of the ring road from Bubanj Potok to Pancevo, 31 kilometers long, and announced that the project would be completed and the building permit issued by March.

Vesic also said at the time that, when sector C was completed, he would order the planning of sector D, which would be a connection of Pancevo to the new bridge near Batajnica, whereby Pancevo would get another ring road on the highway to Novi Sad.

– Sector D, from Pancevo, behind Borca, Ovca and Krnjaca, would connect above the Pupin Bridge and a new bridge will be built near Batajnica – Vesic said and added that it would take 23 minutes to travel from Batajnica to Bubanj Potok.

According to him, sector D will be 38 kilometers long.
