The company Brother UK has done research to find out which places in Europe are the cheapest and the most expensive for remote work.
Brother UK analyzed factors such as the speed of the Wi-Fi network, apartment rent prices, electricity prices, as well as the safety of the place, and rated each destination on a scale of 100.
On this list, the most favorable city for those who do remote work is Tuzla, about which they say that a single-bed apartment in the city center costs only EUR 207 a month and that takeout food is also super cheap – an average meal costs only EUR 4.11.
Romania is also one of the dominant countries on the list of the cheapest cities, with five cities placing in the top 10. The costs of an internet connection in Oradea, which placed second, are only EUR 7.42, but cities like Craiova and Sibiu are also on the list thanks to their accessibility.
Also, the list features Skopje and Nis.
