- In this way, the unemployment problem of our municipality will be resolved in a quality manner, and we are glad that the qualified workers who used to work at Imo and Kluz will be hired again - said the mayor of Vrsac.
Mirko Dobrosavljevic stressed that the support to such investors was also given by the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and that Provincial Secretary for Labor and Employment Miroslav Vasin announced grants for each newly created job.
For the needs of production the Italian company rented an empty storage space where all machines delivered from Italy have already been installed. In the first period, the plant will employ between 80 and 100 workers.
- I would like to develop my company in Vrsac step by step. I am used to working that way and I don' like to give big promises. The aim is to produce whole shoes here - said Giovanni Favaroni, expressing gratitude to everybody, and particularly to MP Jon Magda who was a mediator in the business agreement in Vrsac.
- Since the municipality of Vrsac is a special priority for the Government of Serbia, I hope that we will witness an expansion in this area when having mind a well-developed infrastructure in Vrsac and empty plants that should attract investors - said Jon Magda.
It was pointed at the meeting that the company must start the production as soon as possible because it needed to fulfill the agreements concluded with some global companies and large brands.
By the way, Giovanni Favaroni is present in the Romanian market for 20 years now.
