International summit of importance dedicated to development of Balkan's oil pipelines will be held on April, 10th, 2006 in Belgrade
International energetic summit about Balkan's oil pipelines, on which representatives of Balkan's governments will participate, as well as investitors and representatives of oil companies from the region, European union and Russia, will be held on April, 20th, 2006 in Belgrade.
The organizer of this gathering is electronic weekly paper Energy Observer, whose representatives announced that on the summit main subjects would be about plans and present condition of construction of the oil pipeline Burgas-Aleksandropolis-Albania-Macedonia-Bulgaria (AMBO) and Paneuropean oil pipeline (PEOP). The construction of Balkan oil pipelines, designed for oil exporting from the Caspian region across the Black sea, would provide to Serbia and other countries of South Eastern Europe cheaper supply with oil and profit from the transport of this energy substance across its territory.
The patron of the gathering is wise president of the Government of Serbia, Miroljub Labus, and mediator of discussion is former minister of commerce and privatization of Serbia, Aleksandar Vlahovic. Energy observer intends to organize by the end of 2006 3 more similar manifestations, which would promote Belgrade and regional congress energetic center.
