Gondola in Vrnjacka Banja to Transport up to 2,400 Passengers per Hour – Amended Plan for Future “Novak Djokovic” Gondola Published

The area covered by the DRP is 13 ha 24 a 45 m2. The initial planned capacity of the gondola is 1,200 visitors per hour, and the end capacity is 2,400 visitors per hour.
The gondola has a total route length of around 6,675 m and, according to the document, it traverses an altitude difference of 782.7 m between the starting and ending points. The type of the planned Vrnjacka Banja-Goc gondola is an installation with cabins with a capacity of 10 passengers.
The plan for the route includes 32 poles, three stations (Vrnjacka Banja center, Lipova, Goc) and a gondola depot at the interstation. Let us remind, according to the plan, which was available for early public inspection in mid-2023, 28 poles were planned on the route.
The starting point (lower station) is planned in the settlement of Vrnjacka Banja, in the very center, right next to the Slatina spring, on the cadaster parcels 1160, 1161, 1168/1 and 1162 in the cadaster municipality of Vrnjacka Banja. Let us remind that the location of this stations was slightly changed recently.
The ending point (upper station) is planned on the Goc mountain, in the area of the cadaster parcels 547/1 and 548 in the cadaster municipality Goc and 4934/1 in the cadaster municipality Novo Selo.

The interstation will be positioned on the slopes of the Goc mountain, in the settlement of Lipova, in the cadaster parcels 1073 in the cadaster municipality Lipova and 3980/1 and 4043 in the cadaster municipality Vrnjacka Banja.
A majority of the route of the future gondola is located in an undeveloped area on the slopes of the Goc mountain, passing across developed vegetation. The area covers the cadaster municipalities: Vrnjacka Banja, Lipova, Novo Selo and Goc.
According to the data from the land registry entries and the publicly available data of the Republic Geodetic Authority, a part of the parcels is in public and state ownership, whereas a part is in private ownership.
The plan was prepared by Set from Sabac, and the public inspection will last until April 18.
As announced earlier, the gondola will be named “Novak Djokovic” and be built in partnership with the Djokovic family.
