The parcel is part of the biggest sports and recreation complex in Zajecar. The whole zone of the sports center encompasses an area of over 50 ha and is located on the slopes of the Kraljevica hill, and the new football stadium was recently built on a part of said parcel.
The new public space, according to the project task, should be the kind of a tourist attraction that is popular in the world and complement the cultural-tourism offer of the Kraljevica Memorial Park-Forest and Zajecar.

An education path of 17 Roman emperors is planned within the park, with sculptures of all the Roman emperors born in the territory of Serbia, as is a triumphal arch with a ticket booth and ticket control and a flat area for the reception of the visitors.
The plan also includes a Roman bath – a pool with a porch, with a design around the pool modeled after Roman baths, an outdoors amphitheater with 700 seats, a lookout with a view to the park, an aqueduct from which water slides and moves further through the park through a network of canals that flow into the Roman bath. The canal network will intersect with the network of the pedestrian paths with bridges above the canals.
A Roman village, a hothouse, a children’s playground, a climbing rock and an adventure park are also to be built.
For the employees, of whom there will be 18, a head office building is planned on 480 m2 with an info center, a gift shop and offices.
The plan includes 15 parking spaces for cars and six for buses and trucks, for the visitors.
The planning job is worth RSD 9.2 million, and the tender is open until April 2. More details (in Serbian) can be found HERE.
